Posted by | Midlands Kickboxing | on 29th MayOn 28th of May 2012 Midlands Kickboxing students from Bestwood, West Bridgford and Arnold took part in the grading at Southglade Leisure Centre.
The grading was carried out under the watchful eye of Regional Instructor Mr. Dan Maguire.
The students were put through their paces and were given the opportunity to showcase their talent. Both Jenny and I would like to thank Dan for conducting the grading smoothly given the lighting problem we had.
I am very pleased and proud to announce the following students successfully passed their grading.

News Articles : New Class in Bestwood Nottingham
Posted by | Midlands Kickboxing | on 10th JanuaryMidlands Kickboxing are pleased to announce the opening of a new club at Southglade Leisure Centre, Southglade Road, Bestwood. Nottingham. NG5 5GU. The leisure centre itself is one of the finest in Nottinghamshire.
The class will take place every Monday 8.15-9.15. We are currently enrolling complete beginners as well as those with prior experience. This is a mixed class which means beginners and higher students all train together providing diversity within the session. Children, teenagers and adults attend offering a good mix of students and a friendly family atmosphere. The class takes place in the main sports hall which is a good sized, well ventilated room, The arena boasts excellent facilities including a large social area which has its own bar along with the facility for hot drinks, a well lit car park offers ample parking if you intend driving, the Leisure Centre is very close to a host of local towns including Top Valley, Bullwell, Rise Park Arnold.

When considering the student of the year award there was certain criteria that had to be met.
I am pleased to confirm that both Arun and Richard ticked all the boxes.
Both students have a fantastic attendance to the classes throughout the year, they have continued to improve in their Kickboxing techniques and been successful in recent gradings, they work hard in every session and never leave anything in the tank at the end of the class.
